Cynthia and her twin sister Felicia (who was also trans) were both shot by Dan Edward Jones. Jones was given two life sentences.
A Lebanon teenager was indicted yesterday for murder in the death of a drive-in market operator and assault with intent to commit murder in the shooting of Nashville Bridge Co. President Allen Zang.
The Davidson County Grand Jury also returned two second-degree murder indictments against Dan Edward Jones, 23, of 1323 Chester Ave., Nashville, who is charged with slaying two [trans women] here July 24.
JONES IS charged with the pistol slaying of Cynthia and Felicia Coffman, both 22, of 1910 Hermosa St. The two victims, known as [deadname] and [deadname] man before beginning [transition], were part of a set of triplets, originally two boys and a girl.
Police said they were shot after an argument with Jones, who was visiting their roommate. The night before the murders, Cynthia had hit Jones in the head with a wine bottle and he had chased her outside with a pistol, police said.
