James was shot in the kitchen of their home on Wyoming St in Boston.
A 28-year-old Roxbury man wearing women's clothing was shot to death in his apartment at 2:45 this morning. The victim was identified as James Smith of 29 Wyoming st.
At the time of the shooting two women, friends of Smith, one 22 and the other 21, were chatting in the kitchen.
Witnesses said they heard four shots and a stranger ran out through the kitchen. he entered a parked car and drove off.
